Guided by the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20, we press forward with unwavering mission—to reach the lost with the gospel and to equip believers to grow as devoted disciples of Christ.
About Our Pastor
Pastor Micah Renfrow was raised in a Godly home, the son of a faithful preacher. From a young age, he traveled across the country with his family, serving in evangelistic ministry. Later, he served alongside his father, Pastor Mike Renfrow, at their home church, Trinity Baptist Church in Wilson, NC.
Pastor Micah is passionate about preaching and teaching the Word of God in a way that is understandable, and speaks directly to the heart and challenges lives for Christ. He stands firmly on the Bible as the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. With a heart for souls and a passion for truth, Pastor Renfrow preaches the whole counsel of God—without compromise, apology, or dilution.
He believes in faithfully serving the Lord through Bible-centered ministry, a commitment to reaching lost souls, discipleship, and standing for truth in a world that desperately needs it.
His ministry is deeply rooted in his life verse:
Psalm 71:18
“Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.”
This verse reflects his burden to reach this generation with the life-changing power of God.
Pastor Micah is incredibly thankful for the love and support of his wife, Brittany, and their daughter, Bella. Brittany plays a vital role in the ministry with a special heart for women’s discipleship and spiritual growth. She is passionate about being a godly example of a wife and mother and enjoys connecting with the women of the church through devotional meetings, prayer meetings, and personal mentoring.
Her desire is to help women become all that God has called them to be—strong in faith, confident in their purpose, and grounded in Biblical truth. Whether through one-on-one encouragement or leading group studies, Brittany is committed to building up women in their walk with the Lord and equipping them to flourish in every stage of life.
What We Believe
We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, are the verbally inspired, infallible and authoritative Words of God. We believe, and accept the King James Bible as the divinely preserved and perfect words of God for the English speaking world. We believe that the Bible is the final authority in faith and in life. (II Timothy 2:16-17, II Peter 1:19-21, Psalm 12:6-7).
We believe the Godhead eternally exists in three persons (the Trinity), Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are one God, having precisely the same nature attributes, and perfections (Genesis 1:1, 1:26, Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 23:19-20, II Corinthians 13:14, Romans 8:9).
We believe Jesus Christ is eternal in His existence. He came to earth by means of a virgin birth (Luke 1:35, Isaiah 7:14). His death on the cross is the atonement for sin (Romans 3:25, Hebrews 9:14). His literal bodily resurrection from the dead (Luke 24:36-43, Acts 10:40-41). His personal return to earth (Acts 1:11, I Thessalonians 4:16, Colosians 2:9, Matthew 26:64)
We believe in the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Godhead. He convicts men of sin (John 16:8); regenerates, indwells, seals (I Corinthians 3:16, Ephesians 1:13-14), and sets believers apart unto a holy life. The Holy Spirit is the teacher of the Word of God and guide for a christians daily life.
We believe that salvation is solely by grace through faith in the blood sacrifice, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ the Son of God (Ephesians 2:8-9). All who receive Jesus Christ by confession of sin and repentance are regenerated by the Holy Spirit and become children of God (John 1:12). All who are truly saved are kept forever and cannot lose their salvation (John 10:17-29).
We believe that Jesus called out the church to be a local assembly of saved, baptized believers, voluntarily united together for the purpose of worship, edification, fellowship of believers, spiritual growth, and service. The church has been commissioned by Christ to propagate the Gospel unto the uttermost part of the earth.
We believe that the saved children of God should live in such a manner that does not bring reproach on their Savior. And that we are called to live holy, and separate from the world, and all religious apostasy. (2 Tim 3:1-5, 1 John 2:15-17, 2 John 9-11, 2 Cor 6:14, 1 Peter 1:15-16, Psalm 96:9)
We believe all men were born with an inherited sin nature received from our common ancestor, Adam. We believe that because of his nature, man is a sinner by choice, and he is totally incapable of reforming himself or ceasing from his sin by his own power. We believe the only hope of deliverance for man is a total change of mind concerning his sinful condition and inability to change it, and a turning to Jesus Christ as the only Saviour. We believe that only through the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ on the cross can a man be delivered from his sin. We believe that all those who reject Jesus Christ as their Saviour are already condemned to an eternity in the lake of fire. (Genesis 5:1-5; Acts 4:19; Acts 16:31; Romans 3:10-23; Romans 5:6-12; Romans 6:23; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-6; Revelation 20:11-14)
We believe in the personal pre-tribulation and premillennial return of Jesus Christ. He will come for His saints together at the rapture, followed by the seven year tribulation. Christ will come back with His saints to set up His kingdom on this earth for 1,000 years. After the thousand year reign is the great white throne judgment, and then the new heaven and new earth. (Revelation 19:11-16, 20:4-6, I Thessalonians 4:13-18, John 14:3).
Jesus left the commandment that we should be witnesses for Him (Acts 1:8) and are to take the Good News of the Gospel to every place where man can be found (Matthew 28:19-20). We believe that to carry out this commandment, we must ourselves be witnesses by life and word to tell all lost men about Christ and we must support by prayer and financial aid those who go out to represent us in other parts of the world.
